Susan was getting a pop-up message saying that her virtual memory was running too low? Possible reasons:
The virtual memory thing could be lack of hard drive space so right click on you main C: drive icon and choose Properties to see your used space Vs Free space.Delete some unwanted files or programs if you’re running out of space or consider purchasing a bigger hard drive.
It could also be more to do with computer performance than lack of memory. If you right click on the My Computer icon and choose Properties – Advanced – (Performance) Settings – Advanced and Change under (Virtual Memory). Make sure the System Managed Size is ticked then click Set to the right and ok. Restart the pc if asked to do so.
If it still happens then you might just have too many programs running at once so just do one thing at a time!
Extra RAM might also help.
