Anshuman had a problem with his Combi CD/DVD drive reading CD’s fine but not DVD’s. Here’s a few suggestions. In this case either the Drive or the DVD could be faulty. Try the DVD in another player or try other makes of DVD. Also try to update the drivers/firmware of your drive and see if you can get an updated version of the software that plays DVD’s or try a different software.
If you are technically capable, try taking out the drive and testing in another computer.
