Stan’s wife can’t get the “@” key to work when she’s typing out an email address.Providing that particular key is not physically broken or stuck then the most common reason for not getting an @ symbol when you hit that key and possibly getting a ” instead is because of your keyboard input or language settings.
In Vista, go to Start – Control Panel – Regional and Language Options and choose Keyboards and Languages then Change Keyboards. In Installed Services, click Add and choose the input language and keyboard layout for your location. Save your keyboard settings as a default.
