Windows Shut Down to Prevent Damage

Author: | Posted in the "PC Hardware" Category
August 20, 2009

Praveen is getting the above error message on a blue screen every time he uses lots of system resources for things like writing dvd’s and running large programs like Photoshop.

This looks like a classic case of CPU overheating or faulty RAM modules and is most likely hardware related since a format didn’t solve the problem.

You could also try removing some components and restarting or upgrading RAM.

Can you also tell me how can I know whether CPU is overloading

  2. PC Dude Says:

Try http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php to monitor your CPU temperature and “Ctrl – Alt – Delete” – Performance to see whats going on with your CPU.
