Computer hardware includes any physical parts of the pc that you can touch including, monitor/screen, keyboard, mouse, sound card, speakers, etc..
Usually when something goes wrong with a piece of hardware connected to your computer its time to say goodbye to that particular part or hello to a hefty repair bill! Hardware is not easily fixed and if its old you may be better off upgrading. Most parts of a modern pc can be upgraded if they are old, under performing or if you just need your pc to do something new like play music, edit videos and photos or play games. Hardware upgrades are one of the best things about computers, making them highly extensible and breathing new life into an old pc without you needing to fork out for a new one!
