USB Memory Problems

Author: PC Dude | Posted in the "PC Backup Solutions, PC Hardware" Category

RG is having problems with his USB memory device which is showing up under device manager but fails to write files or show files already saved to it.This sounds like a simple case of a corrupted USB device. If the device shows up on the PC and has the latest manufacturers drivers/firmware but can’t be written to or doesn’t show files that should be on it then it must be corrupt. This happens often enough unfortunately. Make sure to keep at least 2 copies of all important files!

If the drive is corrupted then RG should download DriveRestore Professional. The product will analyze and repair the drive with NO loss of the drive’s data. DriveRestore Professional can be downloaded at: http://www.pcrecovery.com/driverestore
